PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mandrel removing method capable of enhancing the removing work efficiency of a mandrel. SOLUTION: This method for removing the mandrel M from a long hose vulcanized and molded in a state that the mandrel M is inserted is composed of a take-up process for taking up a hose H formed by cutting the long hose into a predetermined length, a removing process for removing the mandrel M from the taken-up hose H and an unwinding process for unwinding the hose H' from which the mandrel M is removed.
