PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently discriminate the effectiveness of an acoustic reflection path obtained by a virtual image method. SOLUTION: Whether a reflection point P exist on a wall surface W is determined by the order of vertexes a<SB>j</SB>which prescribe the wall surface W made of polygons, their three-dimensional coordinates and the three-dimensional coordinates of the reflection point P that is on the reflection path and obtained by the virtual imaging method. At that time, an angleθ<SB>j</SB>which is made by two adjacent vertexes a<SB>j</SB>and a<SB>j+1</SB>of the wall surface W at the reflection point P and has a sign is obtained, and discrimination is made to determine whether the reflection point P exists on the wall surface W, based on the sumΣθ<SB>j</SB>, which is the sum of the angles having signs, obtained between all the adjacent vertexes a<SB>1</SB>to a<SB>5</SB>.
