PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spread bookbinding method which is quite free from the peeling of an adhesive part of a spine part of a bound part main body or the damage/breakage of the main body because the force applied on the bound part main body during spreading the pages can be smoothly and certainly released, even when the bound part main body is constituted of thick pages by forming a comparatively longer spread gap part in both a bearing leaf and a fly leaf of endleaves of the inside of a cover integrated in one piece on both hard covers of a face/back sides, and the inside part of the bound part main body and to provide the spread bookbinding. SOLUTION: In this spread bookbinding method, the bearing leaves 7 and 7 of the inside of a cover are bonded to the inside parts of both hard covers 4 and 4 pasted to both face and back side parts of the bound part main body 1. Further, the bearing leaves 7 and 7 are combined in one piece with the fly leaves 8 and 8 of the inside of a cover bonded to the innermost side part of layout sheet materials 2, ... and the spread gap parts 11 and 11 with an appropriate length and width are formed.
