PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical clip securing the occlusion with a body tissue. SOLUTION: This surgical clip formed into an approximately U shape is provided with an approximately V-shaped bridging member formed corresponding to a closing end part of the U shape and paired leg members extending from a pair of end parts of the bridging member. This surgical clip is so formed that, at least, one part of the opposite inside faces of the pair of leg members and the inside face of the bridging member is defined as a body tissue occlusion surface and the body tissue occlusion surface is formed as an indented pattern obliquely developing in the longitudinal direction of the leg members.
