<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience of a user in a vehicle remote monitoring system. <P>SOLUTION: A smart key 5 portably carried by the user is provided with an in-starting monitor switch 54 as a switch for monitoring a vehicle state from a remote place, an in-coming-home monitor switch 55, and an all item monitor switch 56. Monitor information showing various kinds of vehicle states is associated to each the switch 54-56. When operating the in-starting monitor switch 54, an operation signal of the effect is received by a cellphone 4, and the cellphone 4 acquires the monitor information corresponding to the operation signal, i.e., the monitor information (a parking position, a rainfall situation or the like) useful to the user when leaving home, from a vehicle. Similarly, when operating the in-coming-home monitor switch 55, the monitor information useful when coming home such as a door opening/closing state, a lock state or a window opening/closing state is acquired, and all pieces of the acquirable monitor information are acquired when operating the all item monitor switch 56. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
