<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular starting friction element control device capable of further minimizing gear noise generated when quickly raising the oil temperature more than when completely fastening an automatic clutch when the temperature of oil in a transmission is low and its viscosity is large. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission controller 41 is formed by arranging an advancing clutch 21 between an engine 1 and a belt type continuously variable transmission 19; and has an oil viscosity estimating means for estimating oil viscosity in the transmission. When the oil viscosity in the vehicular transmission is estimated as being larger than a preset value by the oil viscosity estimating means, the advancing clutch 21 is put in a slip state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
