PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control program correction system and microcomputer for correcting a control program in accordance with a circuit unit used as electronic equipment such as a television receiver. SOLUTION: In the microcomputer 2, identification information imparted to the circuit unit is detected (step S2) and identification information recorded in a correction memory is read (step S3). When the identification information detected from the circuit unit coincides with the identification information read from the correction memory (step S4: YES), correction data recorded in association with the identification information are read (step S5), the control program is corrected by using the read correction data (step S6), and a corrected control program is executed (step S7).
