FOREIGN MATTER REMOVING DEVICE FOR TRACK TURNOUT PART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a foreign matter existing between a stock rail and a switch rail in retry operation performed in the case of a point switching failure. SOLUTION: In the case of the point switching failure in switching the position of the switch rail 8b from a normal position into a shifted position, retry operation is performed by reversing the switch rail 8b to return into the normal position and switching it again into the shifted position. During this retry operation, compressed air or water is jetted between the switch rail 8b and the stock rail 7b on the way of the switch rail 8b returning into the normal position.
