PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly waterproof equipment storage device for a rolling stock. SOLUTION: The equipment storage device 1 for the rolling stock comprises a storage box 10 to store equipment provided outside a rolling stock body, a lid 20 to open/close an opening part 11 for checking the storage box 10, and a lock mechanism 30 to lock the lid 20 at a closing position. The lock mechanism 30 has a bearing hole 41 formed through the lid 20, a handle 50 turnably supported by the bearing hole 41, a locking claw 60 to pull the lid 20 toward the storage box 10 as the handle 50 is turned, and an O-ring 39 which is interposed between the bearing hole 41 and the handle 50 to seal a space therebetween.
