PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking assist brake controlling device equipped with the fail-safe function capable of managing well with occurrence of a brake failure which is sensed when the parking assist brake control is to be executed. SOLUTION: When a brake failure is sensed by a brake control ECU during the parking assist brake control, the control is ended, and a control signal to issue an alarm to the driver is emitted, while a second drive signal is emitted to a motor-driven parking brake, and the vehicle is stopped forcedly by generating a braking force.
