A jumping stick has a handle bar and a cylindrical outer shaft. The jumping stick further includes an inner shaft having an upper end that extends into the bore of the outer shaft, a spring element operatively coupled to the inner shaft, and a landing base coupled to the lower end of the inner shaft.
