<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink composition having excellent various demand characteristics such as abrading resistance on a surface to be coated, adhesivity, increase in coating concentration and increase in glossiness and a pigment dispersion for providing the ink composition. <P>SOLUTION: The pigment dispersion comprises pigment, a colloidal particle of compound oxide, a dispersant and a solvent. The pigment dispersion has variation differences of viscosity and average particle diameter between those immediately after and after storage for one week at 70°C of within ±6% viscosity and average particle diameter immediately after dispersion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
