<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device capable of stably supporting the legs of a seat occupant irrespective of the shape of an instrument panel. <P>SOLUTION: The airbag device 2 is installed on a panel 5 in a cabin 3, and from the device 2 an airbag 1 is inflated and deployed to the legs of the occupant A.
