<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter, having green pixels comprising a colored layer for a light transmissive region and a colored layer for a light reflection region having the same color/same thickness as that of the layer and having a hole of a fixed size, for a semi-transmissive liquid crystal display, capable of displaying with superior lightness and chroma as both a transmissive liquid crystal display and a reflection type liquid crystal display, and to provide a photosensitive green composition suitable for use in the production of the color filter. <P>SOLUTION: With respect to the photosensitive green composition, when the width of the uppermost part of a straight line pattern formed using a photomask having a light-shielding portion and a linear opening of a width W1 μm is represented by Wp; and when the substrate side diameter of a hole formed using a photomask having an opening and a hole-shaped light shielding portion with a hole diameter W2 μm is represented by Wh, the expression: -5.0 μm≤(Wp-W1)+(Wh-W2)≤5.0 μm is satisfied. The color filter for the semi-transmissive liquid crystal display has green pixels, comprising a colored layer for a light transmissive region and a colored layer for a light-reflecting region, with a missing portion formed using the composition to the same thickness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
