PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid supplying device which enables appropriate and smooth attachment/detachment operations of a liquid reservoir with respect to a recording head. SOLUTION: The device is characterized by having a liquid supplying tube 13 which is protruding from the recording head 12 and having a liquid inlet 13a communicating with the interior of the recording head 12, a sealing member 14 which is rotatably held by the liquid supplying tube 13 and movable between a sealing position of the liquid inlet 13a and an open position of it, a reservoir main body 1a which is storing liquid and having a liquid supply opening 2 which enables the liquid supplying tube 13 to be inserted and pulled out, and a movable member 4 which rotates the sealing member 14.
