<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a processing method, allowing a user to rapidly and easily perform text input of Asian language. <P>SOLUTION: Part of a mode includes a keyboard having a dedicated key for a function, about Pinyin input of Chinese. The input from the user including operation of a key on the keyboard is received, and the processing of the key is performed as the function supporting the character input.
