<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter element having an alkali glass substrate and an inexpensive dielectric multilayer film type optical component which is constituted by firmly sticking a collimator lens to the element with an epoxy based resin. <P>SOLUTION: The dielectric multilayer film type filter element 1 is characterized in that a dielectric multilayer film 3 is formed on one side of the alkali glass substrate and a quartz glass thin film 4 is formed on the other side.
