PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger that hardly deforms against the inner pressure of internal fluid even when a tank section of a tube is formed in a flat shape. SOLUTION: In the heat exchanger, a plurality of tubes 110 are stacked that comprise a flat fluid channel 110a formed of a pair of faced and joined tube plates 111 and 112, a pair of tank sections 110b and 110c swelling out of the flat surface of the fluid channel 110a, and openings 111f and 112f opening on the swelling side of the tank sections 110b and 110c, and a fin 120 is interposed between the plurality of tubes 110. The outer peripheral shape of the tank sections 110b and 110c is formed in the flat shape. At least one of the openings 111f and 112f of the tank sections 110b and 110c of at least one of the tube plates 111 and 112 is provided with joints 111g and 112g for interconnecting the long sides of the flat tank sections 110b and 110c.
