PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guiding device for driving lane to prevent sudden lane change. SOLUTION: A control circuit 1 can check circumjacent cars around own car (step S1 to step S2), based on the current position of the own car, car information about the other cars outputted from a transceiver 5, and the lane data stored to a map data inputted device 3. When the presence of obstacle cars, such as emergent stopped cars is determined, the control circuit 1 can decide whether the road own car is now traveling consists of a plurality of lanes, whether other cars are present on the both sides or diagonally backward of own car, and whether obstacle cars are present in the lane to be selected by own car (step S3 to step S6). When a lane enabling lane-changing is present, other cars are not present on both sides or diagonally rearward of own car, and obstacle cars are not present in the changing lane, the control circuit 1 can guide lane-changing to the lane, capable of avoiding obstacle cars (step S7).
