PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a printing controller to grasp information on clogging caused by ink. SOLUTION: This printing system is equipped with a printer which conducts printing by ejecting an ink droplet from a plurality of nozzles, and the printing controller for controlling the printer. In the printing system, the printer is equipped with a clogged nozzle identifying means for identifying the nozzle causing the clogging, and a nozzle information output means for outputting the information, indicating the identified clogged nozzle, into the printing controller; and the printing controller is equipped with a nozzle information receiving means for receiving the information, indicating the clogged nozzle, from the printer.
