PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve anti-come-off of a dust cover from a head cap. SOLUTION: In a dust cover lid portion 16A of the dust cover 1A pressed and fixed into the head cap 6 mounted on a piston rod 5 of a hydraulic shock absorber 2, a rectangular opening portion 21 is formed through which an eye 4 is inserted. The rectangular opening portion 21 formed in the dust cover lid portion 16A gives a greater engagement allowance of the dust cover 1A to a head cap lid portion 7 than in conventional technology for inserting the eye 4 through a circular opening portion formed in the dust cover lid portion. The come-off load of the duct cover 1A on the head cap 6 is higher, accordingly. Thus, the dust cover 1A hardly comes off from the head cap 6 and the anti-come-off of the dust cover 1A from the head cap 6 is improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
