EMULSIFIED FUEL USING BIODIESEL FUEL AND ITS MANUFACTURING PROCESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an emulsified fuel using BDF (biodiesel fuel) which gives lower concentrations of both NOxand black smoke emitted from an engine under a high load on the engine and reliably makes the delay in ignition of the engine shorter, as compared to the case when light oil or BDF (not an emulsified fuel) is used for diesel engine fuel. SOLUTION: The emulsified fuel using BDF is obtained by putting BDF in an emulsified fuel in a way that water accounts for 10-20 wt.% of the emulsified fuel using BDF without intentionally adding a predetermined amount of an emulsifier to the water and agitating the mixture before and after the water is added in a way that the water is mixed and dispersed in the BDF in particles having a Sauder mean particle size of 15-170μm.
