HEAT RADIATING APPARATUS AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS, AND DUST ADHESION PREVENTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat radiating apparatus in which dust is not easily adhered to a heat radiating fin, and also to provide a dust adhesion preventing method in which dust is not easily adhered to the heat radiating fin. SOLUTION: The heat radiating apparatus and electronic apparatus are provided with a heat radiating fin 11 fixed to a pipe 13 for flow of coolant in which a plurality of heat radiating plates 12a are allocated in the predetermined interval and a fan for cooling through flow of the air into the gap formed between the heat radiating plates 12a. The principal characteristic is that the gap in the inlet port side of the air is formed narrower than that in the outlet port side during the heat radiating operation. In the dust adhesion preventing method, dust 14 is peeled and dropped by generating inverse flow of the air within the heat radiating fin 11 explained above. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
