PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of particles for an image display medium, with which high heat resistance and strength can be given to the particles and satisfactory heat resistant reliability and satisfactory elapsed time change in long-time repeated inversion displays can be obtained. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the particles for the image display medium used for an image display device, wherein the image display medium is encapsulated between substrates at least one of which is transparent and which face each other, an electric field is applied to the image display medium and the image display medium is moved to display an image, the particles 11 for the image display medium are irradiated with an electron beam to be post-cured.
