PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone which can be small-sized and is improved in operability. SOLUTION: There are provided an upper case 1 comprising a key operating part 3, a lower case 2 comprising a battery housing part 11, and a printed circuit board 10 housed in these cases 1, 2. The printed circuit board 10 is disposed in parallel to a principal surface 1a of the upper case 1 and while inclining to a bottom surface 11a of the battery housing part 11, a short electronic component 12 is disposed in a portion of the printed circuit board 10 close to the bottom surface 11a of the battery housing part 11, and a tall electronic component 13 is disposed in a portion thereof away from the bottom surface 11a of the battery housing part 11. Thus, the battery housing part 11 can be inclined to the principal surface of the upper case 1, namely, the bottom surface of the lower case 2 can also be inclined to the principal surface 1a of the upper case 1, thereby miniaturizing the cases. Thus, when holding and operating the case in hand, the case is naturally inclined forward, thereby more easily operating the key operating part 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
