摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: in a conventional starting device, there is possibility that a required oscillating voltage is not obtained, since a switching element is switched off halfway because of shortage of a conduction signal, and a stable oscillating voltage for starting can not be obtained, since the charged electric charges in a capacitor fluctuate, and the size of the oscillating voltage also fluctuates when a next switching element is switched on. SOLUTION: When starting a discharge lamp 12, a conduction control device 10 supply a conduction signal to a switching element 8. An oscillating voltage is generated by resonance action of an inductor 6 and a capacitor 7 by switching-on of the switching element in a starting device. Since the conduction control device supplies the conduction signal almost synchronized with oscillation of the starting device by a capacitor 13 and an inductor 16, if the main current of the switching element is reversed, the conduction signal is also reversed, and undesired switching-off caused by lack of the conduction signal is prevented.
