FIELD: devices for splitting of switch ties, applicable in machines for splitting of switch ties in flow lines for mechanical processing of switch ties before impregnation at the impregnation works. ^ SUBSTANCE: the device has a closed framework mounted on a frame consisting of a bedplate and a limiting stop interconnected by fixed members, power cylinder and a splitting block. The power cylinder is positioned under the upper face, and the splitting block - on the side of the lower face of the switch tie. The lower plate of the splitting block is connected to the body of the power cylinder by tie-rods and positioned freely on vertical fixed members of the closed framework, and the upper plate of the splitting block is fixed on the vertical fixed members of the closed framework. Besides, the limiting stop of the closed framework is positioned between the body of the power cylinder and the pivot installed on the rod of the power cylinder. ^ EFFECT: simplified structure due to exclusion of motion of the switch tie in the vertical plane at splitting and provision of a permanent depth of splitting irrespective of the depth of the tie. ^ 1 dwg |
