PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding method in which the molding cycle is shortened by minimizing the transfer of a molding frame and energy consumption is reduced. SOLUTION: The method for molding a mold for performing the molding and molten metal pouring while the molding frame is attached, comprises the following processes: a process in which each molding frame transfers on a pass-line and reaches a filling and compressing station; a process in which a sand-filling space is formed with a pattern plate carrier arranged in a transfer device so as to be transferable only in the horizontal plane and a pattern plate by a filling and compressing device and piled flask falling in the filling and compressing station; a process in which after the space is filled with free dropping molding sand, the molding sand is compressed by means of downward movement of the filling and compressing station; a process in which the sand mold with frames formed by the rise of the filling and compressing device and the piled flask is separated from the pattern plate carrier and the pattern plate; and a process in which the sand mold with frames is carried out to the path-line and further, the filling and compressing device and the piled flask are raised to reach the original position.
