<p>An apparatus for cooling beverages is provided. The apparatus comprises a coolable block (11) having a beverage-flow channel (12) into which a beverage to be cooled is poured. The beverage flows through the channel, during which heat is exchanged between the beverage and the block, which results in a cooling effect upon the beverage. The channel flows substantially over the surface of the body of the block.</p> |
