PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To browse not only the personal information of a particular person but also the personal information of persons concerned of the person on the basis of the permission of the particular person under a certain condition at occupation. SOLUTION: This personal information management system for managing personal information by a server is provided with: a personal information DB in which information related with a person is stored; a personal relation DB for managing the persons concerned of the person; and a personal information browsing qualification DB for managing personal relations for permitting the user of the system to browse the personal information. The server executes processing to acquire the personal information which can be browsed for the execution of tasks by referring to the personal information browsing qualification DB, and to approve the specific person by outputting it to a terminal and processing to acquire the personal information of the persons concerned of the person having the browsing validating personal relations from the personal information DB by referring to the personal relation DB at the time of browsing the personal information, and to output it as the object of browsing to the terminal.
