MAGNETIC ONE COMPONENTS TONER AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD USING THE SAME

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulative magnetic one component toner capable of forming satisfactory images free of various image defects by forming a neat thin layer free of defects etc., having a uniform thickness on the surface of a developer carrier stably for a long period of time from right after turning on a power source and an image forming method by a magnetic one component jumping development method using the same.

SOLUTION: The magnetic one component toner is prepared by compounding a first magnetic powder having a volume resistivity of 1×102to 1×104Ωcm and a second magnetic powder having a volume resistivity of 1×106to 1×107Ωcm into toner particles in such a manner the volume resistivity attains 1×103to 1×107Ωcm. The image forming method comprises combining the magnetic one component toner and a developer supporter of 2.0 to 6.0 μm in ten point mean roughness Rz of surface.
