PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a further wider range of remote control executed by a household network. SOLUTION: A DTV 110 receives first operation information for controlling a VCR 100 from the VCR 100 connected via an IEEE 1394 network and generates second operation information, on the basis of the first operation information.
