<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "toll inquiry device and toll inquiry method" capable of reducing the possibility of passing over an abnormality of a toll payment/collection system by enabling a user to obtain information for deciding whether further detailed examination is to be performed or not for the operation of the toll payment/collection system and the settlement or adjustment of a toll from the inside of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The toll inquiry device 10 comprises an own vehicle-side toll record acquisition means including a navigation system 13 obtaining a traveling history, a communication means 18 making an inquiry to a management server 21 to acquire toll information, and an arithmetic part 14 forming an own vehicle-side toll record from the traveling history and the toll information; and a display 16 and a speaker 17 corresponding to alarm means. The communication means 18 also makes an inquiry to the management server 21 which provides information for the used tool record of toll roads. The arithmetic part 14 compares the used tool record with the own vehicle-side tool record, and gives an alarm through the display 16 and the speaker 17 if the both are differed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
