PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear monitor to solve a problem that reverse drive is hard to operate and to provide its mounting device. SOLUTION: This rear monitor 17 is constituted free to display an image of a back camera set for a rear-seated person of a vehicle 11 and set free to photograph the rear of an outer part of the vehicle 11 and free for a driver to visualize the image of the back camera 19 when the driver looks back to the rear of the vehicle 11. Additionally, the mounting device 16 of the rear monitor is positioned to the rear of the vehicle 11 at least from a driver's seat 20 and is furnished with a rotating mechanism 22 to rotate so that a display part 21 of the rear monitor 17 can be visible from the side of the driver's seat 20.
