<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual trash compressor for a trash bin disposed in a lavatory in an aircraft. <P>SOLUTION: The trash bin 100 installed inside a washstand in a lavatory in an aircraft has a lid 50 for a trash charging port provided in an upper surface of the washstand. Under the lid 50, a container 120 for trash is provided. This trash compressor 150 comprises a trash compressing member 152 installed on a frame 130 to be rotatable by a shaft 154.
