PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitive element capable of high-definition image display free of luminance unevenness. SOLUTION: The capacitive element 1 is equipped with a plurality of 1st electrodes 120 provided extending in parallel to one another, a function layer 130 provided to cover the plurality of 1st electrodes, a plurality of 2nd electrodes 140 provided extending in parallel to one another at an angle to the extending direction of the 1st electrodes 120, a 1st driving circuit 151 to which one end of each of the plurality of 1st electrodes 120 is electrically connected, and a 2nd driving circuit 152 to which one end of each of the plurality of 2nd electrodes 140 is electrically connected. A pixel is constituted at each of intersections of the 1st electrodes 120 and 2nd electrodes 140 and the plurality of 1st electrodes 120 are provided with an applied voltage correcting means so that a voltage applied to the function layer 130 is nearly equal among a plurality of pixels along the plurality of 2nd electrodes 140.
