A supply information management system (710) has a reader-writer (711) and a host computer (715) for receiving information from the reader-writer (711). The reader-writer (711) is provided at each station for executing each proce ss relating to the supply of a diaper product on which an IC tag (5) is attache d, writes process information on each process into the IC tag (5), and reads information from the IC tag (5). In the host computer (715) is stored a product database that is the assembly of data elements associating the seria l number of the IC tag (5) and process information, and the product data base is updated based on the information from the reader-writer (711). The supply information management system (710) can specify individual diaper products a nd can manage information on the supply of the diaper products accurately and easily.
