<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display element and a liquid crystal display device that can prevent display quality from decreasing without increasing costs. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display element 2 constituted by arranging a pixel substrate 10 which has a semiconductor switching element 13 composed of a TFT switching pixel electrodes 15 arrayed in matrix and a counter substrate 20 having an electrode 22 opposed to the pixel electrodes 15 opposite each other and charging liquid crystal 30 is characterized in that an aperture section 22a facing the semiconductor switching element 13 is formed in the counter electrode 22 and a light shielding film 24 made of an absorbing material facing the aperture section 22a is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
