PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake air quantity control device offering simple assembly by which degree of freedom in the inside shape of a throttle body can be obtained. SOLUTION: A throttle body 10 having an intake air passage 26 is composed of two throttle body members 10a, 10b divided in the axial center position of a throttle shaft 16. Two throttle body members 10a, 10b are secured by ultrasonic welding or the like so as to sandwich the throttle body 16. The composition of the throttle body 10 by two throttle body members 10a, 10b allows complicated structures of an interior wall or the like of the throttle body 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
