<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a water balance in an absorption liquid storage tank independently of the amount of limestone slurry supplied to an absorbing column and to prevent limestone powder from scattering outside of the system of the absorption liquid storage tank. <P>SOLUTION: Supply water exceeding a supply water level required for an absorption liquid in an absorption liquid storage unit is not supplied, since a part of a certain amount of an absorption liquid supplied to the absorption liquid storage unit is returned to the absorption liquid storage unit from an exhaust pipe of the absorption liquid storage unit, even under a low loading condition where the amount of spray in the exhaust pipe exceeds the amount of supply water for the absorption liquid, by spraying a part of the absorption liquid before bringing a flue-gas into contact with the exhaust pipe installed in the storage unit for the absorption liquid supplied to the absorbing column, when the flue-gas is cleaned by bringing SOx contained in a boiler waste gas into contact with the absorption liquid comprising slurry containing limestone or lime. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
