ELECTROCHEMICAL DEVICE, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND ELECTRODE USED FOR THE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical device having a constitution wherein metal foil in which an active material layer is formed on the whole surface can be used as a rolled material, and to provide its manufacturing method.

SOLUTION: As a method for manufacturing the electrochemical device, the end of an electrode bit is turned up first, the active material layer on the turned-up portion is removed, and a state that metal foil is exposed is obtained. The lamination of the electrode bit of this state is performed by a separator, and an exposed part of the metal foil and a conductor plate are joined. By these processes, a principal part in the electrochemical device is constituted.
