PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar capable of preventing a local oscillation signal from leaking outside a mixer. SOLUTION: This radar 1 is constituted of a transmission circuit 10, a reception circuit 20, an antenna 2 and a circulator 3. The reception circuit 20 amplifies a reception signal RF transmitted from the circulator 3, in a low noise amplifier 21. The local oscillation signal LO having a frequency of about half of a frequency fRF in the reception signal RF is generated in a local oscillator 22 to be amplified in a buffer amplifier 23. The reception signal RF input from the low noise amplifier 21 is mixed with the local oscillation signal LO input from the buffer amplifier 23, in an even higher-harmonic mixer 24 using an antiparallel diode pair as a frequency converter, and an intermediate frequency signal IF is generated therein to be output.
