PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of a data error in an ECC block at the time of reproduction of data without reducing storage capacity. SOLUTION: Binary recording by which data is recorded depending on existence of a mark is performed for an information recording medium, a synchronizing signal consisting of a mark part and a non-mark part is added to data of 1 ECC block being a recording unit, occurrence of data error in the ECC block can be suppressed at the time of reproduction without reducing recording capacity owing to joint recording by making the prescribed position in the synchronizing signal, for example, a non-mark part joint of DRAW or rewriting recording.
