An optical recording medium according to the present invention includes a support substrate and a light transmission layer formed on one side of the support substrate and constituted so that data are recorded therein or reproduced therefrom by projecting a laser beam having a wavelength of 380 nm to 450 nm thereonto, wherein the light transmission layer is formed so as to have a thickness of 5 mum to 60 mum. When the light transmission layer is formed so as to have a thickness of 5 mum to 60 mum, it is possible to prevent the optical recording medium from warping due to heat or moisture applied thereto, in a desired manner, even in a next-generation type optical recording medium having asymmetrical structure
