<p>A spectacle lens formed from a polycarbonate resin composition which comprises (1) 100 parts by weight of a polycarbonate resin (ingredient (a)), (2) 0.1-0.5 parts by weight of at least one ultraviolet absorber (ingredient (b)) selected from the group consisting of 2,2'-methylenebis[4-(1,1,3,3tetramethylbutyl)-6-(2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)phenol] and 2-[2hydroxy-3,5-bis(alpha,alpha-dimethylbenzyl)phenyl]-2H-benzotriazole, (3) 0.005-2 parts by weight of a release agent (ingredient (c)) which is a release agent constituted substantially of a full ester of a tetra- to octavalent, C5-30 aliphatic alcohol with a C10-22 aliphatic carboxylic acid and has an acid value of 4-20, and (4) 0.001-0.2 parts by weight of a phosphorus compound stabilizer (ingredient (d)). The polycarbonate resin composition from which the spectacle lens is formed has molding heat resistance during spectacle lens molding by injection molding, extrusion compression molding, etc., in particular has molding heat resistance which makes the composition withstand long-term high-temperature holding, changes little in hue through a heat history, and has satisfactory releasability. A spectacle lens substantially impermeable to 385-nm ultraviolet and having a high total light transmittance and excellent transparency is provided.</p> |
