<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording disk having a format excellent in feeding accuracy of tracking and strong against disturbance of vibration/impact and the like and to provide a disk apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In print of a disk label surface 102a, e.g. a concentric tracking guide 11 is provided on the upper surface of a coating layer 101 using an IR ink by an IR ink printing circuit 30. Since the IR ink does not reflect visible light and cannot be seen by human being's eyes, printing quality of the disk label surface 102a is never affected by the IR ink. Since there are a main beam for performing print and sub beams for generating a tracking error signal in the print of the disk label surface 102a, the tracking error signal can be obtained from the difference between a sub beam 1 and a sub beam 2 by a tracking servo circuit 260 similarly to three beams of a data surface.
