INITIALIZATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND INITIALIZATION PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which it is necessary for a device which repeatedly starts and ends one or more media modules for realizing media processing functions for each media described in high-level language such as C language to initialize external variables held by the media modules with the use of a few memories in starting those modules.

SOLUTION: An initialization processing apparatus is provided with tables 241 to 245 for storing initialization information unique to media processing parts 231 to 235 in order to initialize external variables held by the media processing parts 231 to 235, and put them into an executable status when the media modules 221 to 225 are started. The initialization processing apparatus is also provided with a common initialization part 201 common to the apparatus and for reading the tables 241 to 245, and for executing initialization.
