PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnified image displaying method for reducing the transmission time of image information and relieving transmission processing burden on a server, and to provide its system, device, and program, and a recording medium. SOLUTION: When a user clicks the coordinate (X1, Y1) of a low resolution image 2 with a mouse, the area determining part 18 of the server 10 determines in which area of the low resolution image 2 the coordinate (X1, Y1) is included through the use of the coordinate (X1, Y1) and an area management information table 17. The area determining part 18 outputs an effect that the coordinate (X1, Y1) is included in an area A' to a corresponding file transmitting part 19. The corresponding file transmitting part 19 determines that the file of a segmented image corresponding to the area A' is a file A, so as to transmit the file A of the segmented image A to a terminal 50 via a communication processing part 20.
