PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To popularize the heating by far infrared ray suitable for heating a comparatively wide space in which the warm air does not reach. SOLUTION: A combustion chamber 3 not having an air hole on an outer wall continued to a burner 2 mounted in a frame body 1 is mounted in a state of being directed to an upper part of the frame body 1, a plurality of heat exchange pipes 6 extended upward are mounted on an upper plate 3a of a combustion chamber 3 composed of a tall cylindrical body, and a cylindrical exhaust gas chamber 7 is mounted on an upper end of the plurality of heat exchange pipes 6. A guard 4 is erected from the frame body 1 in a state of surrounding an outer part of the exhaust gas chamber 7 from the combustion chamber 3, a top plate 5 mounted on an end part of the guard 4 is provided with an opening 5a on its center to expose the top plate 7a of the exhaust gas chamber 7, and the exhaust gas chamber 7 and the top plate 5 are fixed by a mounting piece 7b. An exhaust cylinder 9 is erected on the exhaust gas chamber 7 through a bent cylinder 9a, and a part from the exhaust cylinder 9 to the combustion chamber 3 is integrated to cover exhausting power of a combustion fan of the burner 2 with draft power of the exhaust cylinder 9.
