<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery which can prevent additional short circuit between a negative electrode plate and a negative electrode tap when the separator is melted by heating of the negative electrode tap portion at the time of over-charge and discharge or internal short circuit, by installing a heat insulation plate on the opposite face of the negative electrode plate where the negative electrode tap is fixed in the secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: The secondary battery is provided with a positive electrode plate 130 in which a positive electrode solid color portion 133 is formed comprising a positive electrode current collector 132 and a positive electrode active material layer 134, a negative electrode plate 140 in which a negative electrode solid color portion 143 is formed comprising a negative electrode current collector 142 and a negative electrode active material layer 144, and a separator 150 for insulating the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate mutually wound, and an electrode assembly in which the positive electrode tap 136 and the negative electrode tap 146 are respectively fixed to the positive electrode solid color portion and the negative electrode solid color portion. The negative electrode plate includes a negative electrode heat insulation plate 148 adhered to the opposite face to the face where the negative electrode tap is fixed in the negative electrode soid color portion, thereby safety is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
